Sarah Cohen
Ms. Cohen, an associate attorney at Bibiyan Law Group, P.C., began her legal career in the southeast of England where she spent 5 years earning her Bachelor of Laws With Honors (LL.B) from Kent University. In addition to graduating with a First Class honors at the top 5% of her class, she was also awarded with the 2015 Annual Mock Trials – Best Student Advocate as chosen by Kent Branch Magistrates’ Association, Crown Prosecution Service & Kent Law School. Over the course of approximately 8 mock trials, Ms. Cohen alternated between arguing for the prosecution and defense and proved to have superior advocacy skills. Ms. Cohen also dedicated her time outside of law school to assisting in providing free legal advice at the Free Legal Advice Clinic to underserved communities.
As a native to Los Angeles, Ms. Cohen returned to California in 2016 to pursue her State Bar of California license. In 2017, she earned her Master of Laws (LL.M) from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA School of Law) and subsequently received her license to practice law in the State of California.
Prior to admission to the State Bar of California, Ms. Cohen gained extensive litigation experience while working as a law clerk in the areas of general civil litigation, including but not limited to, legal malpractice, negligence, real estate (landlord/tenant, eminent domain), employment, breach of contract, and fraud (misrepresentation).
Ms. Cohen now devotes her practice to civil litigation with a focus on employment law. Ms. Cohen is dedicated to vindicating the rights of employees who have fallen victim to wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour, amongst other violations committed by employers in both individual and class action claims.
When not practicing law, Ms. Cohen enjoys tennis, hiking, traveling, and cooking.
